Application deadlines
2017-18 / 31 May 2017 for the first semester or the full year

each student will receive an individual acceptance letter by email within 2 weeks after the deadline
Please NOTICE that we have changed the exchange application deadlines for the Autumn semester: May 31 is the new deadline.

Admission criteria: / Applicants will be selected on the basis of their portfolio/application evidence and depending on the
balance between incoming/outgoing students (reciprocity of exchanges).

ACADEMIC INFORMATION

Academic calendar / First semester 2 November – 28 February - (approximately) Second semester 1st March – 30 June - (approximately)
(Christmas holidays: two weeks).Exams: after the end of the lessons, towards the end of February. Second Semester: from beginning of March to Mid June (Easter holidays: one week). Exams: from the end of June to Mid July

Credit System / ECTS
Students in mobility for one semester who choose annual subjects will be conferred half the credits, as they will attend only half of the lessons.
Grading System / 30 cum laude / 30 (excellent) > 18/30 (pass). 17/30 is a fail.
Recommended language
skills / Student mobility for study: ITALIAN level A2 minimum recommended;
ENGLISH level A2 minimum also recommended
Staff mobility for Teaching: ENGLISH level B2 or ITALIAN level B1
Accommodations / The Academy of Fine Arts of Frosinone has an apartment available with two double rooms (4 beds total), which are assigned annually depending on the mobility applications received.

THE FINE ARTS ACADEMY OF FROSINONE INFORMATION

The Italian University and Academic system is based on 3 + 2 years

1st cycle/level = 3 years (Triennium = undergraduate, BA)

2nd cycle /level = 2 years (Biennium Specialization = postgraduate, MA)
