BANGALORE FOR THE YEAR 2014-2015 FOR SOUTH ZONE AREAS.

Sealed Tenders are invited for entering into ANNUAL RATE CONTRACT OF HIRING OF VEHICLES AT IIHR, BANGALORE(SOUTH ZONE AREAS)FOR THE YEAR 2014 - 2015 as per the details enclosed in the Annexure – I will be received up to 27.12.2014 (15.00 hrs) and the same will be opened on 29.12.2014 at 11.00 hrs. (except on General /Sundays/Closed Holidays) subject to following terms and conditions.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. 24x7 Service shall be provided by the Service Providers.
2. In case of accidents, the service providers will not take full responsibilities for
Insurance claims etc. and this Institute or its employees will not take any responsibilities
what so ever.
3. Selection of the firms will be made based on the lowest quoted rates irrespective of
zones.
- Trip sheets should contain: along with all other details.

5. There will be no driver’s bata forlocal trips.
6. Out station driver bata will be paid from 6.00 AM to 10.00PM 1 hour i.e., 5.00AM to 6.00
AM and between 10.00 PM to 11.00PM should be exempted from Bata, if the driving is
done between 11.00 PM and 5.00 AM night bata will be considered.

7. For Out station trips, a minimum coverage of 250 Kms. per day is to be chargeable.
8. Out Station Entry Tax/Other statutory charges/Parking Fees etc. shall be arranged by the
Service Provider on production of receipt / bill for arranging payment. Original receipt should
be produced.
- The payment shall be arranged by this Institute within reasonable period of time on production of proper Printed Invoice/Bill (2sets) along with the ORIGINAL TRIP SHEET(S) with full details with advance stamped receipt.
10. Vehicles which are indented /booked by the Institute should possess up-to-date Insurance
Coverage/Road Permit to enter other States(Inter-State)(All India Permit)
11. THE RATES QUOTED BY THE TENDERER(S) ARE FIXED DURING THE
PERIOD OF CONTRACT AND THIS INSTITUTE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY ESCALATION IN PRICE OF DIESEL/OTHER LUBRICANTS/OTHER
STATUTORY CHARGES ETC. AND IF THE SERVICE PROVIDER WITHDRAW
FROM THE CONTRACT, THE PERFORMANCE SECURITY AMOUNT WILL BE
FORFEITED AUTOMATICALLY AND NO CORRESPONDENCES IN THE
MATTER WILL BE ENTERTAINED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
12.The Successful Tenderer(s) are requested to furnish aPERFORMANCESECURITY
for a sum of Rs.15,000/-(Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only)by way of DEMAND DRAFT/
PAY ORDER favouring The Director, IIHR, Bangalore within 21days of receipt of
AWARD OF CONTRACT from this end and the same will be refunded/returned after
the successful completion of contract i.e., after period of 1 year from the date of
awarding the contract.
13. In case, Vehicles are not provided at a given point of time and place, the contract will be
terminated forthwith without assigning any notice apart from initiating legal action.
14. The Annual Rate Contract will come into effect from the date of issue of award of Contract.
15. SERVICE TAX excluding Driver’s bata, Toll Fees and parking fees, out station entry tax
etc. MAY BE CLAIMED IN THEIR BILL / INVOICE.
16. The Tenderer (s) shall furnish the complete BANK DETAILS for arranging payment
through ONLINE as per details below:

17. The Drivers allotted to the Vehicles should wear neat & tidy Uniform with Driver’s Cap
and badge etc., and should not be in intoxicated condition.
18. The Driver(s) deputed should maintain strict discipline and should be in position to
understand Regional Language including Hindi/English.
19. The Tenderer(s) are requested to furnish the PROFILE of their FIRM / CO./THEIR
CLIENTS / REGN.NO. etc. compulsorily.
20. The firm should send sms to the Indentor /reporting officer while allotting vehicles well in
advance before reporting at the designated point.
21. The firm should have valid Registration Certificate.
22. The Tender Documents are not transferable under any circumstances.
23. Only Courts in Bangalore shall have jurisdiction over any suite arising out this transaction.
24. The Director, IIHR reserves the right to reject any or all tender/bidding without assigning
any reasons thereof.
