The West Long Branch Board of Education, by means of a Consent Resolution, adopt various resolutions of a routine and non-controversial nature at one time; and

Whereas, the below listed resolutions are hereby adopted by the said Board of Education in whole as if the same were individually acted upon.

  1. Move to approve, upon recommendation of the Interim Superintendent, Jo Ann Podracky as the Interim Assistant Board Secretary on an as needed basis, at $50 per hour, commencing November 23, 2011 through April 1, 2012 (Mrs. Podracky is a retired, certified school business administrator).
  1. Move to approve, upon recommendation of the Interim Superintendent, Caryn Anderson as an Interim Full Time employee, retroactive from November 1, 2011 (Board Direction October 27, 2011).
  1. Move to approve, upon recommendation of the Interim Superintendent, the extension of the existing contract for the Interim Superintendent/Business Administrator/Board Secretary until September 1, 2012 (Employment ceases upon any New Superintendent starting work).
  1. Move to approve, upon recommendation of the Interim Superintendent, the extension of unpaid medical leave of absence for Heather Weiner, commencing on November 16, 2011 through May 1, 2011.

Move to approve, upon the recommendation of the Interim Superintendent, the employment of Beth Nash, Language Arts Replacement Teacher for Heather Weiner, retroactive to November 16, 2011 through May 1, 2012, Step 1-2 BA, $45,000 pro-rated, (subject to adjustment following the conclusion of negotiations between the West Long Branch Board of Education and the West Long Branch Education Association and the approval/ratification of a collective negotiations agreement effective July 1, 2011).
