How to Use the BAMSI Email Signature

1.  Choose which signature template you are going to use below

2.  Update it with your unique information by replacing the generic information (Your Name, Street Address, etc.) with your own.

Three Options:

3.  Highlight your entire completed signature and click the Copy button in the Home ribbon at the top.

  1. Now open either Outlook Web Access through the BAMSI Employee Portal or your desktop Outlook and follow the instructions on page 3 as to how to place the signature in your Outlook options.


For Outlook Web Access (through the BAMSI employee website):

1. Select “Access Email” in the Employee Portal found at the bottom of the BAMSI website and log in with your email and password. After signing in, click Options in the top right corner and then click “See All Options”


2. Click “Settings” in the left side panel.


3. Click in the blank E-Mail Signature box and press “Ctrl-V” on your keyboard to paste your signature (which you’ve already copied in the first steps of these instructions) into the box.

4. Make sure that the box next to “Automatically include my signature on messages I send” is checked.

5. Click Save.


For Microsoft Outlook (from the Outlook program):

1. Open Microsoft Outlook and click on Tools, Options.


2. Choose the Mail Format tab in the screen that pops up, then click Signatures.


3. Click New in the box that appears and enter a name for your new signature, then click OK.


4. After you’ve copied your signature from the template, right click into the empty box and click Paste.


5. When your signature appears in the box, click the arrow to view the dropdown menu next to “New messages” and select the name you chose for your signature. Do the same for “Replies/forwards” then click OK.


7. Click OK.

Please remember: When you send email from a BAMSI address, you are representing the agency. Using this signature ensures that we present a standard agency brand and that every email sent from @bamsi.org is professional. Please send emails with only a white background and black text in the content of the email. Use only Times New Roman or Verdana.
