1- Hi Sophie! This is Danette Lynch calling. I am so glad I caught you on the phone! May I have a few minutes to tell you what’s happening? Great! ______, I am calling you because I have some exciting news! I am in a training challenge to earn the most beautiful, to-die-for ring ( or whatever it is) from my director! To earn it, I need to listen to my director share Mary Kay’s marketing plan with 10 of the sharpest women I know! I picked you because I have always been so impressed by you OR you immediately came to my mind because (sincere compliment).

Now I know that Mary Kay is probably something you would never consider for yourself and that is perfectly ok with me. You are not obligated to anything, I am just excited to share the business opportunity with you and see what you think! You would be helping me more than you know and just for helping me out, I will treat you to a FREE lipgloss or a $15 gift certificate toward your next purchase, your choice! Is there any reason why we couldn’t set up a time to have a cup of coffee (or 3way call) with my director? Great! What works better for you this week Tuesday or Wednesday? over the noon hour or after work? 11:30 or Noon? 5 or 5:30? (let her know to plan for about 30 - 45 mins).

It’s so easy! All you have to do is listen to this hotline (hand her your business card with “Listen for a Lipgloss” label on the back) before we get together. It’s about a 15 minute recording of my Sales Director sharing how we make money and earn cars in Mary Kay so all you have to do is listen – you don’t even have to say a thing! This just gives you the background info you will need so you can ask questions for my practice when we get together!
