Trinity Week 2017Health In Our Changing World: Discover, Understand, Act

The world is facing into a period of major geopolitical, environmental, economic, demographic and social change. There are complex and unprecedented new challenges facing societies including the greatest movement of people on record, a growing and ageing population in a world of diminishing resources, the rise of antibiotic resistance and health epidemics such as obesity and dementia, and political instability and heightened security fears. This has led to huge uncertainty for individuals around how these changes will shape our daily lives and our futures.

During this period of rapid change, however, we are also seeing incredible advances in health, technology, science, information sharing, engineering, communication - changes and developments which are and will continue to positively address many of these new challenges.

In a world of uncertainty and anxiety, Trinity Week will try to help you better understand the challenges we face as a society and to gain an insight into the innovative work being done in Trinity and around the world to drive positive change and meet those challenges head on.

Trinity Week will encompass a range of free interactive events, lectures and workshops open to the public.
