Commonwealth Home Support Program Training Project Officer - Central Coast Sector / Hunter (38 hrs a week)

Wesley Mission has been serving the community for over 200 years. It is one of Australia’s largest welfare organisations.
We are currently seeking the services of a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated person who will be responsible for identifying and co-ordinating delivery of training to Central Coast and Hunter service providers of the Commonwealth Home Support (CHSP) and Community Care Support (CCSP) Programs.This position will be situated in Newcastle West andwill involve travel throughout the Central Coast and Hunter regions.
Essential Criteria
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and demonstrated ability to deliver training
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Home Care Standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of CHSP programs, legislation, guidelines and current reforms
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of accreditation processes for service providers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent computer skills and be fluent in the Microsoft office suite
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Hold a current NSW drivers licence
Desirable Criteria
  • Knowledge of the not for profit sector
  • Previously worked for a community based organisation
  • Ability to research and analyse training needs and outcomes

Remuneration:
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award 2010 (SCHADS) with generous salary packaging opportunities.
Salary details: SCHADS 5 NAPSA Grade 4 – Pool car supplied
