Overview of Fire Stocks with Vendor Policy General fire policy (with vendor) is arranged for covering stocks with outside Vendors, in god owns or workshops (excluding WIP). The policy is required to be taken for maximum value of stocks stored at any given time.

Basic Flow of Fire Stocks with Vendor Policy The “ACCOUNT” department initiates the Fire Stocks with Vendor Policy. The user logging in as “ACCOUNT” declares some stock and submits to the “INSURANCE” department. After this the user logging in as “INSURANCE” creates a new Policy and incorporates the pending declaration into a new Policy and submits the policy to the Insurance Company. After the approval of the policy by the insurance company they provide the Policy No and the Policy is finalized.

Overview of Marine Import Policy All consignments against foreign purchase order are covered under specific marine insurance policies taken separately for every order at the time of placing purchase order on foreign suppliers. The marine policies for imports cover all risks of physical loss or damage including risks of war and strike & riot, whilst goods are in transit from supplier's warehouse to consignee's warehouse.

Basic Flow Marine Import Policy A user logging in the system through “IMPORT” role initiates the Policy request. Then the policy request goes to the “INSURANCE” department. Then “INSURANCE” department verifies the details and submits the policy to the Insurance Company. After the approval of the policy by the insurance company they provide the Policy No and the Policy is finalized.
