The following pages suggest which leaflets will be appropriate for each department.
Once they have been modified to match your own needs, you may find these lists useful:
ATo keep track of what particular set of leaflets you decided would be likely to be useful in which different departments or wards.
BTo work out how many originals for photocopying of each leaflet you are likely to need to create so that each department has its own set of such photocopy originals.
CAs a list to be stuck on the outside of a concertina file to let people know which leaflet has been stored in which partition.
D Copies can be kept in the last space, to be filled in by the user when some leaflets have nearly run out so that they can make arrangements for refills
Not all the leaflets listed are yet available as part of the Prescribable Leaflet Collection. Some suggest standard national forms which it would be useful to keep in the same folders (e.g. Mole Registration Forms, Blue Termination of Pregnancy Forms etc.) Others have been left as reminders of leaflets which have not yet been created as part of the Prescribable Leaflet initiative but which you might think are important to have make available, and which you may be able to get from other sources.(e.g. Fertility Proformas, Vasectomy leaflet, Endometriosis Leaflet, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease Leaflet etc)
You will unfortunately find it necessary to make regular revisions, hence the essential need for the date at the top of each page
