Hi, I would like to introduce a game / sport that is new to the United States, it is called PETECA. Although it is rather unknown here, Peteca attracts a million followers in Brazil (numbers of the Brazilian federation). Originally it's a game invented by Brazilian natives. It is played either in a circle, trying to keep it in the air as long as possible, or in a more recent version, over a net of the height of Volleyball. Native original Peteca shuttlecock Modern Peteca Shuttlecock It is a very simple game that is highly accessible. It is extremely affordable, you just need a Peteca and a friend to start rallying. Peteca is good for coordination, focus and attention as well as a good and fun workout where the participants will use both sides of the body. As you don’t need a racket like in badminton it is highly recommended to use both hands to strike the birdie. Obviously we believe that this beautiful activity probably deserves a segment on your program or in your pages. A flavor of novelty and brazilian heat emerges of it. One of the most obvious assets of Peteca is that it is very easy to learn. There are only 2 movements to master, preferably with both sides, and you can play within 5 minutes of starting to practice.
