Please confirm by email that you will be using the pick up you have been assigned. You must confirm pick up so we can ensure to have room for you on our vehicles. Transportation Schedule from the New York City area to Chipinaw Hostelling International New York Pickups Tuesday May 25, 2010 2 pm Hostelling International New York. Tuesday June 1, 2010 2 pm Hostelling International New York. Sunday June 13, 2010 (Waterfront Only) 2 pm Hostelling International New York. Tuesday June 15, 2010 (Ropes & Support Only) 2 pm Hostelling International New York. Monday June 21, 2010 2 pm Hostelling International New York. Hostelling International New York (891 Amsterdam Avenue &103rd Street) From Newark Airport take the Olympia Trails bus (they leave every 15 minutes) to New York City Port Authority bus terminal. The 40 minute trip costs $15. From JFK take NY Airport Service Express Bus to New York City Port Authority. The 50 minute trip costs $15. LaGuardia Airport runs a similar shuttle and is also about 30 minutes outside New York City. The trip costs $12. Then take a taxi or subway to Hostelling International New York. Subway: From 42nd Steet - Port Authority Station take the number 1 train uptown to 103rd street station. Exit 103rd Street station and walk one block to Amsterdam Avenue. PLEASE NOTE: Since we are providing transportation on several dates from the New York area, you will not be reimbursed for traveling to camp on your own. If you have to arrive on a day that we are not providing any transportation you are responsible for all costs to get to camp. You are welcome to come in a day early to give yourself a chance to unwind from your long journey. Before booking your flights please confirm that you will arrive in New York with enough time to make it to our pick up location. For your info - Public transport to camp is via Shortline Bus from New York City’s Port Authority bus terminal to Monticello, New York. The two hour trip costs $30.00(US$). Call the camp prior to getting on the bus at NYC Port Authority to let us know what time you will be arriving at Monticello. We will arrange for you to be picked up from the bus stop.
