Thames Valley ST4 Psychiatry Programme Information Health Education England – Thames Valley covers the counties of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, with Banbury and Milton Keynes to the north, Oxford towards the west, Aylesbury to the East, and Reading and Slough in the south/south-east. Programme HEETV is relatively small and serves as a single unit of application. This means that in the first year Details you may be allocated to any geographic location within HEETV, depending on available placements. Future placements will be based on preference and individual training needs. Please note placements may occasionally change to meet the needs of the training programme or the service. In some cases, eg February starters, rotation may be on the first Information Wednesday in February. Maternity leave may also cause a variation in this pattern.
