Our mission is to promote and provide oral health care as an integral component of overall health for regional, national and international communities through quality education, research and service and to ensure we fulfill our vision to promote integrity, competence and compassion while providing evidence-based ethical oral health care to all populations in collaboration with other health professionals. I am very pleased to present the Annual Report of the Faculty of Dentistry which is a true refection of our mission. This past year is one we will remember for many years to come. Our Centennial Year was a time to celebrate our achievements. May 23-26, 2012 provided an opportunity to share this celebration with our founding fathers, the Nova Scotia Dental Association. Our events included a Meet and Greet at Pier 21, an exceptional array of special Faculty of Dentistry convocation.
