UMNO, BN Will Cooperate With State And Federal Governments To Celebrate Malaysia Day BERNAMA 11/09/2017 KOTA KINABALU, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman said UMNO and the Barisan Nasional (BN) will cooperate with the state and federal governments to ensure that the Malaysia Day celebration on Sept 16 will be held in a glorious manner. Musa, who is also the Sabah UMNO Liaison chairman, said UMNO had asked all divisions of the party in Sabah to send their representatives and members to join in the Malaysia Day celebration. As the Sabah BN chairman, he hoped all the partners in the BN coalition would do the same to ensure that the Malaysia Day this year was celebrated in a glorious manner. "We realise that the joint chairmen for the Malaysia Day celebration this year are Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak and Sabah Minister for Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun. "We are also grateful and happy that God willing, the Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak) and Deputy Prime Minister (Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi) and honoured guest the Yang Dipertua Negeri Sabah (Tun Juhar Mahiruddin) would also attend the celebration," he told reporters after chairing the State UMNO Liaison meeting here tonight.
