One species included by Bleeker 1859:153 [ref. 371] and 1860:285, 432 [ref. 380]. •Valid as Leptobarbus Bleeker, 1859 – (Kottelat 1985:263 [ref. 11441], Roberts 1989:41 [ref. 6439], Doi 1997:22 [ref. 22832], Tang et al. 2010:202 [ref. 31204] in Leptobarbina, Kottelat 2013:119 [ref. 32989]).
