Three of us sat around a table on a Saturday with a list of 24 bands plus special sets, and a matrix of five venues, each of which would have 11 sets per day, for the weekend after Thanksgiving. We needed to fill in the slots in the matrix — around 175 total sets. This sounded fairly simple. Just start with one band, fill in 8-9 sets in various venues, spread over three days, and then repeat for the remaining bands.
