Dress your infant in light-weight long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and wide-brimmed hats. • For older children, use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15+ that protects against UVA and UVB rays. Apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going outside. • Limit sun exposure during peak intensity hours between 10-4 p.m. • Reapply sunscreen every two hours or after swimming or sweating.
