Since receiving her degree from Birmingham Conservatoire she has worked with a variety of artists creatively exploring the interplay between north Indian and western music traditions. She currently performs with her band Kinaara and delivers various community-based programs that promote health and wellbeing through music. SETLIST 1. In 2017, Yarlinie co-composed and performed an experimental piece of music, An Inner Voice, commissioned by the Arts Council England which explored the concept of harmonies (pre-dominantly a western music concept) within Carnatic music. This piece’s success has inspired her to continue pushing further boundaries, whilst still preserving the traditional qualities of Carnatic Music. SETLIST 1.
