[M and m] (type-species: Doci­ doceras liebi MAUBEUGE ) is erected that represents a separate phyletic strand within the family Otoitidae MASCKE , 1907 in the Ovale Zone and the lower Trigonalis Subzone of the Laeviuscula Zone.
