Southwards, Butambala and Kyotera Districts had comparably higher incidence rates. This week, Angal st. Lukes’s Hospital in Nebbi District reported the highest numbers of death (4). Adherence to treatment of who were tested negative for malaria remains poor. Buikwe, Kisoro, Kumi, Lira, and Rakai Districts reported the highest proportion of facilities reporting stockouts of ACTs. (<33%) Kampala, Buliisa, Amuria, Kibaale, Kole and Kumi Districts reported over 80% of health facilities reporting RDT stockouts. Of all the districts, 50% (64) had reporting rates <80%. This requires improvement for enhanced data quality. Actions from the previous week Of the three deaths in Mbale Regional Referral Hospital last week, all were children <10 years of age. One died from severe anemia, another due to delayed care seeking. Details on the third death was not readily available.
