Askham Bryan College Transport (York Campus) 2014/15 Please note all timetable information contained in this booklet relates to 2014//15 academic year but may be subject to change If you would like to use a College Minibus, Stephenson’s, Just Travel, Inglebys or Perry’s coach you must book a seat by completing a transport booking form – these are available on the College website, or from the Transport team (01904 772225). Seats are allocated on a strictly first come first served basis. Students must show their student ID to the driver before travel will be allowed. The buses will operate from the first day of term (September 2014). The buses will try and adhere to the printed times but are subject to prevailing traffic / weather conditions. Please Note: . Train tickets will no longer be reimbursed (except in very specific circumstances which have been authorised and agreed by a member of the Senior Management team) Dirty boots/overalls must NOT be worn whilst on College transport YOU ARE REMINDED THAT AT ALL TIMES WHEN BEING TRANSPORTED ON COACHES OR MINIBUSES: - i) Smoking or the use of naked flames is not permitted. ii) Reasonable standards of behaviour, particularly towards others, is expected at all times. iii) The carrying out or consumption/use of alcohol/controlled substances is not permitted. iv) Knives and other sharp objects will only be carried when required for curriculum based activity, where carried, they will at all times be kept secure and covered up in a suitable bag/holder. v) Wilful damage to vehicles or their contents or interference with anything provided for, in the interest of Health and Safety, is not permitted. vi) Where seatbelts are provided, they must be worn at all times. vii) Animals may only be transported on the buses if approval is given in advance. If your place on College transport is taken away from you, you will not be entitled to getting other means of transport reimbursed. .
