The Royal Montreal Golf Club Founded in 1873, Royal Montreal is the oldest golf club in North America The Royal Montreal Golf Club is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Superintendent. Situated on Ile Bizard, 20 km’s West of downtown Montreal, this private 45-hole facility encompasses 550 acres and includes 45-holes of golf. As the oldest established golf Club in North America, the Club’s rich history includes hosting 10 Canadian Open Championships as well as being awarded the host site of the 2007 and 2024 Presidents Cup. The Course and Property Team strive to offer the Membership the highest standard level of service and Course conditions. Qualifications: • 3 years minimum as a Second Assistant or Assistant in Training • Diploma in Turf Management or equivalent • Valid Quebec Applicators license or ability to obtain • Valid Driver’s License • Working knowledge of both Rain Bird and Toro irrigation systems • Sound understanding of agronomics and how to apply those concepts Overview and Responsibilities: • Direct report to the Course and Property Manager • Work Closely with the team of Assistant Superintendents to manage day to day operations • Ensure Golf Course Standards are being respected • Follow up and produce data reports • Daily staff supervision • Staff training • Chemical/Fertilizer inventory Management 25 South Ridge Road .
