If you do not know the MAC address, please follow these steps: FOR APPLE DEVICES (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) a. Tap Settings b. Select General c. Select About d. The Mac address is listed as Wi-Fi Address. FOR ANDROID DEVICES (Android phone, tablet, Amazon Kindle, etc.) a. Tap Settings b. Select About (may say "About" phone, tablet, etc.) c. Select Status d. The Mac address is listed as Wi-Fi MAC Address. FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS 10 DEVICES a. Open the command prompt by right-clicking on the Start button and select Command Prompt from the menu. Search "network connections" in the taskbar and select "View network connections." b. Type in ipconfig /all and press Enter. Make sure you type ipconfig /all exactly as shown, with a single space between ipconfig and /all. c. A list of data will appear. Locate the heading Wireless LAN adapter WiFi: d. Beneath the above heading, you should see Physical Address listed a few lines down. The sequence of numbers and letters (ex. 6F-3D-45-00...) is the MAC address. FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS 7 DEVICES a. Click on the Windows Logo in the bottom left corner. b. In the search box, type in: 'cmd' (without the quotes), then press enter. c. You should see the command prompt window open (black background with white letters). d. Type in ‘getmac’ (without the quotes), then hit enter. e. Under 'Physical Address' you'll see your device's MAC Address as series of letters and numbers like: 00-11-AA-BB-CC-33 FOR Macbook Devices a. Select System Preferences from the Apple menu at the top left of your screen. b. Click Network from the System Preferences menu. c. Choose Wi-Fi from the list of interfaces on the left and click the Advanced button. d. Choose the Hardware tab under which you will see the MAC address of your wireless card. e. Press Cancel to return to the Network menu. Choose Ethernet from the list of interfaces on the left and click the Advanced button. f. Choose the Hardware tab under which you will see the MAC address of your Ethernet card. Gaming Devices XBOX ONE a. Navigate to My Games and Apps b. Select Settings. c. Select Network. d. Select Advanced Settings. e. The MAC Addresses for the wired and wireless adapters should be displayed. PLAYSTATION 4 a. Arrow up and over to Settings in the PS4 Menu b. Select System Settings. c. Select System Information. d. The Mac Address will be then displaying on the screen. NINTENDO SWITCH a. Select "System Settings" from the HOME Menu. b. Scroll down through the menu and select “Internet” c. The Nintendo Switch console's MAC address will be listed under "System MAC Address." Smart TV/Bluray Player a. Most MAC Addresses will be visible in the Settings Menu, either under the Network or About sections. b. Alternatively, check with the manufacturer for instructions on how to obtain the MAC Address for your specific model. .
