That the Board of Education grant permission to allow the John F. Kennedy Memorial High School Choirs to participate in Music in the Parks, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, from May 17, 2019, through and including May 20, 2019, at no cost to the district, provided that all policies and regulations governing overnight trips are adhered to prior to and during the trip. 2. That the Board of Education grant permission to allow the Woodbridge High School Spring Track and Field Team to participate in the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, in Greensboro, North Carolina, from June 13, 2019, through and including June 16, 2019 at no cost to the district provided that all policies and regulations governing overnight trips are adhered to prior and during the trip. 3. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending sixty-four students from Colonia High School for their induction into the National Honor Society. 4. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending thirteen students from Colonia High School for their induction into the Quill and Scroll International Honorary Society. 5. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending forty-six students from Colonia High School for their induction into the Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society. 6. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending three students from Colonia High School for demonstrating their science research project at the Lakehurst Naval Base on April 17, 2019. 7. That the Board of Education adopt that attached resolution commending fifty-nine students from Woodbridge High School for their induction into the National Honor Society. 8. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending five students from Woodbridge High School for their induction into the Chinese Honor Society. 9. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending four students from Woodbridge High School for their induction into the French Honor Society. 10. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending twenty-one students from Woodbridge High School for their induction into the Spanish Honor Society. 11. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending three students from Avenel Middle School for being selected as recipients of the 2019 National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award. 12. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending three district students for being accepted to participate in the Central Jersey Music Educators Association Elementary Honors Band on April 27, 2019. 18. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending the students of Lafayette Estates School #25 who participated in the “Kids Heart Challenge” fund raising program co-sponsored by the American Heart Association. 19. That the Board of Education adopt the attached resolution commending the students, staff, and custodians at Matthew Jago School #28 for participating in the Parents of Autistic Children Organization (POAC) walk held on May 5, 2019. 20. That the Board of Education accept the previously submitted monthly report of Harassment, Intimidation, and/or Bullying (HIB) for the period April 12, 2019, through and including May 16, 2019. 21. That the Board of Education approve the previously submitted list of Professional Development conferences for staff members, dated May 16, 2019. 22. That the Board of Education approve payment to New Jersey Center for Psychological Assessment to provide a Neuropsychological Evaluation at the rate of $4,000/evaluation. 23. That the Board of Education approve the Settlement Agreement in the matter entitled L.A. and M.A o/b/o A.A v. Woodbridge Township Board of Education and authorize the Board President, the Board Administrator/Board Secretary and the Board attorney to take all necessary and appropriate steps to implement the aforesaid Settlement Agreement. 24. Motion by _________________________ Seconded by ______________________ Resolution WHEREAS, sixty-foour students from Colonia High Scchool were selected for induction into the National Honor Society; and WHEREAS, this achievement is the highest honor a school district is able to confer upon a student; and WHEREAS, these accomplishments bring honor and acclaim not only to the faamilies of the following students but also to their school and to the entire community; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the members of the Board of Education of the Township of Woodbridge to express their congratulations to the aforementioned students. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the congratulations and best wishes of the Board of Education of the Township of Woodbridge be hereby expressed to the following students for bringing this honor to the school district and to the Township of Woodbridge; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be spread on the minutes of the Board of Education and a copy sent to Colonia High School and to each of the honored students expressing the congratulations of the Board of Education.
