When the Alliance merged with the Football 1973-74 League in 1892, Bootle became founder members of the new Liverpool County Second Division. However, 2007-08 despite finishing 6th in 2002, the club Vodkat League dropped into the Liverpool County Reserve Division Winners Combination. In 2006 the club, with a new 2007-08, 2009-10 ground, were elected back into Division 2 Runners-up of the North West Counties League. In 2009 2008-09 Bootle won promotion to the NWCL Premier *Liverpool Senior Cup Division and also won the Championship. In 2009/10, our first Winners season back in the NWCFL Premier Division Bootle finished a 1883, 1888, 1889 NWCFL highest placing of 3rd. In 2010/11 finished 6th place. *Football Alliance They equalled the 3rd place again in 2012.
