I had responsibility for all academic, research, and administrative functions of the school. For Fall 2020, statistics for the School include: o 6,123 undergraduate majors (3,638 campus and 2,485 online) o 326 graduate students, including 275 doctoral students o 130 faculty (100 tenured/tenure-track) o 100 staff and academic professionals o Direct reports of 9 school-wide leaders: 6 associate directors (faculty, undergraduate programs, graduate programs, research, facilities), 2 special advisors to the director, and director of fiscal and business operations. o Responsibility over unit operational budget of over $34M January 2019 – Associate Dean of Strategic Partnerships, Office of the Dean, The June 2021 College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Arizona State University. In taking on the primary responsibilities as Director of the School of Life Sciences, I focused my responsibilities in the College to leverage longstanding relationships with university research and academic leaders and administration at regional partners. My responsibilities in this position focus on advancing biomedical and online partnerships both with units within ASU as well as organizations and universities across the US and internationally.
