Cooper University Hospital Cooper University Hospital includes the Roberts Pavilion with a spectacular lobby, private patient rooms, a critical care floor, and operating room suites; the Kelemen building with the Emergency Department, Level I Trauma Center, and the Children’s Cooper Medical School Regional Hospital at Cooper; and the Dorrance building with mother-infant services, of Rowan University labor and delivery, the Level III NICU, and a regional perinatal center. Rowan University and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper the Cooper Health System partnered in June 2009 to MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, located on the Cooper Health Sciences establish Cooper Medical Campus in Camden, is the cornerstone of Cooper’s partnership with the University School of Rowan University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. At this four-story comprehensive cancer (CMSRU), the 135th medical center, patients experience MD Anderson’s signature, multidisciplinary approach degree-granting school in to care in a state-of-the-art setting close to home. the country and the first new medical school in Annette C. Reboli, MD Dean, CMSRU New Jersey in 35 years. It graduated its charter class of students in May 2016. Currently, 336 students are enrolled at CMSRU. The school will continue to gradually increase its student enrollment until it reaches a maximum of 416. In June 2016, CMSRU received full accreditation for five years from the Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME), the maximum for a new school. CMSRU’s success with the LCME accreditation process was remarkable, with the school earning zero issues of non-compliance for its provisional accreditation in 2014. Cooper physicians serve as the clinical faculty for CMSRU. Although CMSRU is a new school, the Coriell Institute for Medical Research Cooper faculty is not new to teaching. Cooper The Coriell Institute for Medical Research, an independent nonprofit dedicated served as the core clinical campus for the former to the study of the human genome, is recognized as one of the world’s leading UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical
