Nowadays there are over 140 mobile devices on the market that support Java™ 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME) technology. Even if J2ME specifications provide a solid common base for the implementations, the devices vary a lot. Some have bigger color screens, because consumers and markets expect to see better and sharper displays, while others have futuristic keypads.
