ITINERARY Day 1: Singapore - Yangon by morning flight – Full Day Yangon Sightseeing (D) On arrival, transfer to hotel check-in. Visit Chaukhtatgyi, a huge reclining Buddha image, and Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Overnight at selected Hotel in Yangon. Distance and journey time: Yangon Airport to City Centre (20 km): 30 – 60 mins + Traffic. Day 2: Yangon – Bagan (B/L/D) After breakfast, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Bagan. On arrival, start with the busy local market and continuing with visits to a diverse selection of the most important Pagodas and temples, such as Shwezigon pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, Gubyanuk Gyi, a temple with exquisite murals Of Jataka scenes, and Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in ches around the galleried interior. Continue to Manuha Temple, built in Mon Style in 1095, Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument, said to have been the palace of King Manuha and Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, noted for its ancient mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. Proceed to Bupaya Pagoda to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Overnight at selected hotel in Bagan. Distance and journey time: Nyaung Oo Airport to Old Bagan (10 km): 20 min + Traffic Day 3: Bagan - Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin (B/L/D) Morning transfer to airport for a flight to Mandalay. On arrival transfer to Pyin 00 Lwin by car, 42miles east of Mandalay, also called May Myo or Pan Myo Taw (City of flowers). On reaching to Pyinoolwin, we visit to "Peik Chin Myaung Cave", a limestone cave and the cave covers an area of 45 acre, where local plants named Peik Chin, alike long pepper vine used to grow by the mouth of the cave. Its history estimated to be 230 million and 310 million years old from the formation of limestone and hillocks. After this proceed to hotel check in. After refreshments, visit to National Kandawgyi Botanical Garden was established in 1915 by Alex Roger, a forest officer. Overnight at hotel in Pyin 00 Lwin. Distance and journey time: Mandaly Airport to Pyin Oo Lwin (85 km): 2 hours + Traffic Day 4: Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay (B/L/D) In the morning, drive back to Mandalay city. Then proceed to Mahamuni Pagoda with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, Gold-leaf beating, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung or Golden Palace monastery, a superb example of a traditional wooden building and Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world's biggest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Distance and journey time: Pyin Oo Lwin to Mandalay City Centre (65 km): 1 hour 40 mins + Traffic Day 5: Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing - Amarpura (B/L/D) Boat trip on the Ayayyarwaddy River to Mingun about Ilkm (lhour) upriver from Mandalay with visits to the the Pahtodawgyi Phaya, built as one of the world's largest chedis. Mingun Bell, weighing 90 tons and the largest uncracked bell in the world, to Myatheindan Zedi. Then proceed to Sagaing by driving over 1 kilometer long bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River to Sagaing Hills, Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda situated on the top of the Sagaing Hill, Kaunghmudaw Pagoda and many other local pagodas are of interest. Silver-smiths still fashion intricate and unique jewellery in Sagiang and their workshops are worth visiting to purchase eye-catching necklaces and bracelets are inexpensive prices. Drive to Amarapura. Enjoy sunset over 200 years Old U Bein's teak wood bridge. Drive back to Mandalay. Enjoy the dinner. Overnight at selected hotel in Mandalay. Distance and journey time: Mandalay City Centre to Mingun (38 km): 1 hour 20 mins + Traffic Day 6: Mandalay – Yangon - Singapore (B) Depart to Yangon & onward for your return flight home.
