A nurse manager in Academic Service Line obstetrics/gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital, she Nursing Director touched many lives in and out of work with her positivity, compassion and carefree spirit. An active member of her community, Jennifer loved being with her children, family Julia Walton and friends. She inspired so many with her joy and grace, BSN, RN the legacy of which lives on through all who knew her. Patient Care Manager Assistant Abena Anane (Hilda Aduboahene Anane) passed away unexpectedly in March 2019. She was a strong, God-fearing Jennifer Watkins nurse who always had something to smile and laugh about. MSN, RN She was a delight to work with, and she always used her Academic Service faith to guide her in her patient care. At the time of her Line Nursing Manager passing, Abena had been a registered nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital for five years and was working to obtain her doctorate of nursing practice at the University of Marc Woods Louisville, which awarded her the degree posthumously. BSN, RN Assistant Chief Nurse Clay C. Pagan died unexpectedly at his home in May Executive for Behavioral 2018, survived by his wife and two children. A nurse in Health and Eastern the cardiovascular intensive care unit and emergency State Hospital department, Clay was a founding member of the American Men in Nursing Organization and had recently completed Nathaniel Wright his masters in psychiatric nursing, preparing to work in BSN, RN Veterans Affairs.
