During Madl's 18 seasons at Providence College, she has helped to develop a total of six All-Americans, 60 All-BIG EAST selections and 45 All-Northeast Region honorees. More importantly, her teams have competed just as fiercely in the classroom. Madl has had the privilege of coaching 53 student-athletes who have earned NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad honors a total of 114 times, and 101 players who have been named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team a total of 235 times. Providence has qualified for the four-team BIG EAST Championship in 10 of the last 14 seasons under Madl's guidance, including each of the last four tournaments (2016-2019). The Friars captured the BIG EAST Conference regular-season title in 2006 and advanced to the championship game of the con- ference tournament twice (2006, 2007). Last season, the Friars completed the year with a 12-7 mark and a 4-3 record in BIG EAST play (4th place). Providence claimed its fourth-consecutive berth to the BIG EAST Tournament, joining UConn and Liberty as the only other teams to qualify in each of the last four seasons. Four players earned All-BIG EAST recognition in Izzy Mendez, Lydia Rice, Corinne Kenney and Mary O'Reilly, while three went on to claim NFHCA All-Northeast Region honors. (Rice, Kenney and O'Reilly). Providence posted a 4-3 record in the BIG EAST, including a 3-0 mark in overtime matches, en route to a third-place finish in the league. Five players received All-BIG EAST recognition, including Corinne Kenney, who was tabbed as a First-Team pick. Providence's five All-BIG EAST selections are the second-most in program history. Kenney and Mary O'Reilly also represented Providence as All-Northeast Region selections. In 2017, Providence finished the year with an 11-8 overall record, including a 4-3 mark in the BIG EAST (fourth place). Eight of the Friars' 11 victories came at home on Lennon Family Field, marking the most wins at home since the facility opened in 2005. Manon van Weezel earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Year honors, All-BIG EAST First-Team recognition and became the 12th player in program history to earn Longstreth/NFHCA All-America honors (third team). Megan Hamilton also earned All-BIG EAST First-Team accolades, while Megan Guilbert and Corinne Kenney were named to the Second Team.
