Meszaros UK Alumni Association President During the week of our spring board of directors meeting, we lost a special university friend, our UK Alumni Association President Peggy Meszaros. She passed away in her hometown of Hopkinsville following a brief illness. Meszaros earned her master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in 1972, held a bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay University and a doctorate from the University of Maryland. She led a notable career in higher education and her work, both professionally and as a volunteer, at the University of Kentucky was extensive. If you knew Peggy Meszaros, you knew you were in the presence of someone great, an inspired individual who wanted to leave the world in a better place.
