Contacts: Tel: +34 647116478 Email: [email protected] GAUDI live performance consists in just Gaudi on stage, with his music instruments and equipment. He plays theremin, minimoog, vocoder, tape echoes, percussion, multi-effects, stylophone and dub sirens, mixing his live dub vocals thru his 8channel analogue mixing consolle. He also uses some backing-tracks on CD, played out from two CDJs. All music instruments, cables and adaptors, are provided by Gaudi. His instrumentation consists in: 1x Theremin 1x Moog synthesizer 1x Vocoder / Synthesizer 1x KORG analogue synthesizer 1x Microphone 1x Stylophone 1x Megaphone 3x Effect boxes (Delay, Echo, Reverb) 1x Analogue dub siren 1x 8Channel mixing consolle. Promoter agrees to provide: 2x CDJs Pioneer CDJ1000 or higher (different models or brands are fine, but they need to have the “vinyl scratch function”. 1x 4channel DJ Mixer- preferred Pioneer DJM600 or higher. 1x Stage Riser (aprox 120cm high, 300cm long, 150cm deep) or, a sturdy / wobble-free table of the same measure, to fit Gaudi instruments and both CDJs and DJ mixer. 1x Black drop cloth to fully cover the front and sides of the stage rider / table. 1x Monitor speaker, positioned on the floor, on the left side of Gaudi (see Stage Plot). 2x Surge-protector power strip with a minimum of four (4) slots. 2x 9Volt batteries All Gaudi above instruments are connected to his 8Channel mixing consolle, which is connected (L+R outputs are unbalanced) to the provided DJ mixer into one of the four input channels, which will then feed FOH. Monitor volume of the provided DJ mixer must be able to be controlled by GAUDI. Set up and sound-check takes about 45 minutes. Ideal is if GAUDI can be fully set up at least 2 hours prior to his stage time. SOUND + LIGHT We assume that there is a well-sized PA system provided for the concert room/dancehall with sufficient power to supply a clean and undistorted sound and a powerful and feedback proof monitor system. One spot-light oriented on Gaudi and his equipment + moving colored lights. STAFF: A qualified sound engineer is needed, stage technician and light technician, for this event Gaudi is not traveling with his own regular engineer so he depend heavily on the staff on-site. …………………………..
