Colcot Primary School 2018 Hand in Hand We Learn and Achieve

Governors’ Annual Report to Parents. Colcot Primary School 2018 Hand in hand we learn and achieve, nurturing excellence. Tyfu a dysgu gyda’n gilydd Chair of Governors Welcome Dear Parents and Carers, We hope you find the information in this report useful, if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the School or myself. Further information is available in the School’s Prospectus which has recently been updated. The Prospectus can be found on the School website and a paper copy can be made available for you on request from the School Office. As a Governing Body we are very pleased with the progress made by the School and its pupils. The School has been graded a Category A School. This grade has been achieved due to the very high standards achieved by the pupils and the School’s prospects for improvement, including the Schools continued improvement in attendance. The school and staff work hard to maintain these high standards. The teachers have high expectations for the children at Colcot Primary School and want them to learn and prosper. This would not be possible without the encouragement that the children receive from home. The appreciation of the governors goes to all families who give that vital support to children at all stages of their school life. ICT continues to move forward and Colcot Primary School is developing resources to meet the needs of the 21st century. The website is available to keep parents and children up to date and the address is www.colcotprimary.ik.org. Our extended thanks to the members of the school FOCP and volunteers who continue to work extremely hard to raise funds for the school. The School has a strong committed team working to ensure that pupils have the best possible education. With the continued support and involvement from everyone within the School community we look forward to yet another successful school year.
