An alumnus of Canadian Opera Company’s La bohème | Against the Grain Theatre, Saskatoon Opera prestigious Ensemble Studio and Calgary Opera’s Emerging Figaro Artist Development Program, Clarence starred as Figaro Il barbiere de siviglia | Pacific Opera Victoria, Saskatoon Opera with Pacific Opera Victoria in Il barbiere di Siviglia, Marcello Cormack with Saskatoon Opera in La bohème, and Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro with Windsor Symphony and with Shanawdithit | Tapestry Opera/Opera on the Avalon Southern Ontario Lyric Opera. Guglielmo Cosi fan Tutte | Canadian Opera Company Clarence begins the 2019/20 season as Marcello in Against the Grain Theatre’s updated production of La bohéme, Oratorio & concert touring from Yukon to Toronto, covers the role of Count Almaviva with Edmonton Opera’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Ein Deutsches Requiem makes his soloist debut in Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem Brahms | Bach Elgar Choir with Hamilton’s Bach Elgar Choir. Israel in Egypt Handel | Caelis Academy Ensemble Mr. Frazer has displayed his affinity for contemporary Messiah opera, singing the role of William Cormack in Shanawdithit (Burry/Nolan), a co‐production of Tapestry Opera and Handel | Chorus Niagara, Rideau Chorale Opera on the Avalon, and portrayed James Isbister in the Requiem Canadian Opera Company’s acclaimed production of Mozart | Grand Philharmonic Choir Louis Riel, with further performances at National Arts Centre and L’Opera de Quebec. Clarence recently joined as Marcello in La the cast of Le Nozze di Figaro in concert, understudying bohème with Figaro and singing Antonio with the National Arts Centre Saskatoon Opera Orchestra; Alexander Shelley, conductor.
