The LiveSafe app makes it easy to share information about potential crimes and unsafe situations with campus police. From your phone, you are able to report GPS-tagged information with added picture, video and audio clips. It also allows law enforcement to push information out to users to supplement the Madison Alert system already in place on campus. LiveSafe is available as a free download in both the Google Play and iTunes stores. However, there are occasions such as a personal emergency or crisis where the university may need to contact your family. It is vitally important that the university has accurate emergency contact information for you. Sit down with your family and determine who should be listed as your emergency contact.
