(H) Course of Studies for the session 2019-21 in 1) Burdwan University Campus, 2) Hooghly Mohsin College, Chinsurah, Hooghly, 3) Bengal Law College,Shantiniketan, Bolpur, Birbhum, 4) Amex Law College, Burdwan and 5) George School of Law, Konnagar, Hooghly, as per the broad merit list, will be held on 14.02.2019 at the KadambiniGanguly Memorial Hall, 3rd Floor Composite Arts Building, Golapbag, the University of Burdwanat11.30 a.m. sharp. The candidates are requested to follow the contents of the notice and to act accordingly: 1. A) Unreserved categorycandidates having rank between001 to 200 of the broad Merit List and all S.C., S.T. &DA candidates or their authorized representatives must report within 10.30 a.m. sharp on14.02.2019at the KadambiniGanguly Memorial Hall, 3rd Floor Composite Arts Building, Golapbag, the University of Burdwan for participating in the counseling programme for admission. B) Unreserved categorycandidates having rank between201 to 400 of the broad Merit List or their authorized representatives must report at12.30 p.m. sharp on 14.02.2019 at the KadambiniGanguly Memorial Hall, 3rd Floor Composite Arts Building, Golapbag,the University of Burdwan for participating in the counseling programme for admission. C) Unreserved categorycandidates having rank between401 to rest of the broad Merit List or their authorized representatives must report at2.30 p.m. sharp on 14.02.2019 at the KadambiniGanguly Memorial Hall, 3rd Floor Composite Arts Building, Golapbag, the University of Burdwan for participating in the counseling programme for admission. 2. Admission shall be done strictly on the basis of merit. 3. At the time ofcounseling all the candidates have to produce their academic and other credentials in original. 4. The candidates who will be selected for B.U. campus has to deposit a bank draft ofRs. 3215/- (Rupees three thousand two hundred fifteen only) drawn in favour of “The Finance Officer, the University of Burdwan”, payable at Burdwanon 15.02.2019 and18.02.2019to the office of the Secretary, Faculty Council (Arts etc.), Composite Arts Building, 3rd Floor, Golapbag Academic Campus, the University of Burdwan between 12 noon to 3 p.m. The candidates who will be selected for Hooghly Mohsin College will have to take admission on the dates as will be notified by the college authority. The candidates who will be selected for Bengal Law College, Amex Law college &George School of Law will have to pay Rs 6000/- (Rupees six thousand only) as admission fees initially on the date of counseling and later on they have to take admission by providing other admissible fees on the dates as will be notified by the college authority. Selected candidates, if not formally takes admission/ pays admissible fees within the stipulated period, his/her admission will be treated as cancelled. 5. Options for Centre of Learning, once exercised, cannot be changed in any case in future unless they get the chance of up gradation against any vacancy, created later on. 6. If any candidate/ or his/her authorized representative fails to turn up on the date and time of counseling, will not be considered for admission in the later stage. 7. Seats are limited and will be available on the basis of merit and hence, mere participation in the counseling does not ensure seats to the candidates as number of seats are lesser than the number of applicants. 8. The University reserves the right to include/exclude any name of the candidate if any suppression of fact on the part of the candidate or any mistake in calculating the marks/rank detected subsequently. 9. The students who fail to attend at least 75% of classes in the first 15 days, their names will be stuck off from the list of admitted candidates. 10. Second round of counseling will be held on 15.03.2019, if any vacancy created subsequently as a form of resultant vacancy. 11. As per the reservation rules vide Govt.
