The Rules of Procedure for the Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP) provide for ad hoc accreditation as observers of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations for a period of one year (document CDIP/1/2 Rev.). 2. The Annex to this document contains information about one non-governmental organization (NGO), namely, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, who have requested for ad hoc observer status. 3. The CDIP is invited to take a decision on the request for accreditation of the NGO contained in the Annex to this document as an ad hoc observer for a period of one year.
