Manuscript Magazine was not a project we thought of lightly. We wanted to share our love of reading and work together as friends to launch a creative magazine that came to us as a “pretty cool idea” in the summer of 2018. You know the story. Nowehere had we seen anything like what we wanted to do - nothing like Manuscript Magazine 08 11 - and we knew this would be no small feat. We already had demanding jobs and personal lives that took up enough An Interview with Julie Book Dahlia DIY time throughout the week. However, when you want something, you go for it, right? So that’s what we did. McElwain on Her Epic Series A Wonderful Thought Blog After building everything from scratch and receiving amazing support from everyone whom we reached out to, we knew that we were onto something awesome! However, just like our beloved books, life also has plot twists. With both of us having full-time jobs, lives, families, etc. we now realize that at this time we just don’t have enough of ourselves to dedicate to Manuscript Magazine. We want to sincerely thank each and every person, reader, writer, family member, friend and more who has been so supportive of us and our creative magazine project throughout this whole process. While we are not a mainstream magazine that you see on the racks, we’ve now experienced just a mere sampling of the hard work and dedication it takes to produce something like this and we are humbled and appreciative for the opportunities that we have had under this masthead. At this time we are not closing down Manuscript Magazine or any of its social platforms, as we will continue to post and engage with you. Our first and second issues of Manuscript Magazine can be downloaded for FREE on www.manuscriptmag.ca and if you’d like to share something, be sure to email us at: [email protected]. This is one book that we aren’t putting back on the shelf anytime soon, but please stay tuned for our re-launch once it’s announced and keep on reading!
