LG303* Local Government Act 1995 Local Government Amendment (Property) Local Law 2014 Made by the Governor in Executive Council under section 3.17(1) of the Act. 1. Citation This local law is the Local Government Amendment (Property) Local Law 2014. 2. Commencement This local law comes into operation as follows — (a) clauses 1 and 2 — on the day on which this local law is published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the local law — on the day after that day. 3. Property local laws amended (1) This clause amends the local laws listed in the Table. (2) At the end of Part 1 insert: 1.9. Application as to assistance animals This local law is subject to any written law and any law of the Commonwealth about assistance animals as defined in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Commonwealth) section 9(2). Perth local law amended (1) This clause amends the Local Government Property Local Law 2005 made by the City of Perth and published in the Gazette on 14 July 2005 at p. 3261-74. (2) At the end of Part 1 insert: 8A. Application as to assistance animals This local law is subject to any written law and any law of the Commonwealth about assistance animals as defined in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Commonwealth) section 9(2). 6. Wanneroo local law amended (1) This clause amends the City of Wanneroo Local Government and Public Property Local Law 1999 made by the City of Wanneroo and published in the Gazette on 18 January 2000 at p. 287-304. (2) At the end of Part 1 insert: 6A. Application as to assistance animals This local law is subject to any written law and any law of the Commonwealth about assistance animals as defined in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Commonwealth) section 9(2). 7. Certain local laws comprising adopted text amended (1) In this local law — property local law means a local law specified in the Table to clause 3. (2) This clause amends the local laws that result from the adoption of the text of a property local law by reference made in, and as modified by, a local law listed in the Table. (3) At the end of Part 1 insert: 1.9. Application as to assistance animals This local law is subject to any written law and any law of the Commonwealth about assistance animals as defined in the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Commonwealth) section 9(2).
