I am in support of continued civilian access and civil aviation at Dillingham Airfield as it has provided my entire household’s income for the past 8 years. Our jobs are highly specialized and it will be impossible to find work in our respective fields anywhere else in Oahu. Losing our jobs during a pandemic with be devastating. A substantial amount of the dollars earned at Dillingham are spent here on the North Shore! so other local businesses stand to suffer from the closure as well (not to mention all of the tourists who come to Dillingham that also spend money on North Shore while they are out Written here).
