The wave of prayer runs for 11 days between the Christian festivals of Ascension and Pentecost. People are asked in whatever they want and with whoever they want for others to come to know Jesus Christ. This year Thy Kingdom Come will take place between May 13th and May 23rd 2021. Suckley Church has some useful prayer resources to reflect on and take away with you, in the Chancel, based on The Lord’s Prayer. The I am sayings of Jesus Zoom Monday Bible Study con- tinues each Monday at 7.30pm. To receive the Zoom link please email Sally on [email protected] Forest Church will start in June, at the kind invitation of John and Jill Hammond at Pewcroft Farm in Suckley. We will regularly be meeting in their amazing woodland area on the fourth Sunday of each month at 3.30pm – well at least from June – October and we’ll see from there ! More information soon. On May 23rd we are having a taster (without the forest) when we will go on an exploration of the railway viaduct at the bottom of Green Street in Alfrick at the kind invitation of Sally and Rick Knowles. If you want to come along at 3.30 pm and join us in their garden you are wel- come. To find Sally’s house you proceed down Folly Road, opposite the war memorial in Alfrick, and at the bottom of the hill, Green Street is on the left, before Folly Road bends to the right. Turn left down Green Street and follow this lane round the field, through a few hous- es, over the cattle grid, through the field and your destination is the house at the end of the road. If bringing babies or toddlers the walk is not long but you will need a carrier, not a buggy friendly pathway! Any queries please do not hesitate to ring either Rev Anne (01886 832355) or Sally (01886 821654).
