Meet at 37th Street & Park Avenue (in front of 45 Park Avenue) Painter in Residence July 22 (application deadline) Program at Apply for Eighth Annual Painter in Bryant Park Residence Program at Bryant Park Bryant Park Corporation is now accepting applications from artists for positions in their eighth annual Painter in Residence program. The competition is open to all U.S. artists 18 years or older. Work samples submitted for consideration must have been completed in the last two years. Successful applicants will be commissioned to work outside at Bryant Park, creating representational images that will comprise a visual record of Bryant Park. Two artists will be selected for the program, and each will work at the park for a two-week period, the first from August 19 - 30; and the next from September 2 – 13. The position includes a stipend and supplemental funds for materials. The closing date for applications is July 22, 2019, and awards will be announced August 5, 2019. ACES volunteers assist clients with completing applications for public Help Families & benefits and help correct benefit related problems. Volunteers must Individuals Get attend a training that begins October 1, 2019. Upon completion, they are placed in agencies in one of the five boroughs to provide Back on Their information on government benefits to low-income families, older Feet adults, and individuals with disabilities. A personal interview, successful completion of the training, and a commitment of six hours per week for one year of volunteer service is required. Applicants must have advocacy, research, and computer skills, in addition to an interest in assisting low-income populations and learning about public benefit programs.
