South Goa No Rain : Sindhudurg, North Goa, Mumbai City DNA : NIL WEATHER AND ASSOCIATED SYNOPTIC FEATURES : 1) Last week’s Upper air cyclonic circulation over Lakshdweep area and neighborhood between 2.1 and 3.6 km above sea level became less marked on 8th . 2) Last week’s upper air cy clonic circulation over Rayalseema and neighborhood extended up to 1.5 km above sea level lay over Interior Karnataka and neighborhood on 8 th . It lay over North Interior Karnataka and neighborhood extended up to 1.5 km above sea level on 9 th . It persisted over same area till 12 th . 3) Last week’s trough from Vidarbha and Comorin areas across Telangana, Rayalseema and Tamilnadu up to 0.9 km above sea level became less marked on 8 th . 4) Trough extended from East Uttar Pradesh to Vadarbha across East Madhya Pradesh extended up to 0.9 km above sea level on 9 th . 5) Trough lay from the Cyclonic circulation over North Interior Karnataka and neighborhood to Comorin area across South Interior Karnataka extended up to 0.9 km above sea level on 10 th . It persisted over same area on 11 th , and became less marked on 12 th . 6) Cyclonic circulation lay over Lakshdweep area and neighborhood extended between 1.5 and 2.1 km above sea level on 12 th . It persisted over same area on 13 th . 7) Trough ran from South Vidarbha to Lakshdweep area across North Interior Karnataka extended up to 0.9 km above sea level persist. 43°C recorded at no. of stations from 9 th to 13 th April was the highest maximum temperature in the region.
