Following are some important points to be noted by the applicants. 1. Application Form should be filled up clicking the following link : https://forms.gle/GrtFMY2ymoCaCbFh9 2. Payment should be made along with form fill up (Rs. 100.00 only) and payment receipt thus generated should be attached to the filled up form. 3. Application Fee for the Entrance Test for admission to the Guidance Centre : Rs. 100/-. 4. Total Course Fee : Rs. 12000.00 (to be given only by the selected students after admission test.) 5. Duration of the course : approximately 45 weeks, spanning a whole year starting from February 2021. 6. Class Time Table : a. Ordinarily, there will be 2 days’ classes. b. Each day 4 hours of class. c. However, for mock test session there may be extra one day in any week. d. Ordinarily classes will be held on Saturday (from 1.30 pm – 5.30 pm) and Sunday (11 am – 3 pm). 7. Eligibility to appear in the selection test for the admission to the SVGC-WBCS : a. Only boys b. Any Graduate from any stream c. Students who are in 3rd year studies of their undergraduate (B.A./B.Sc./B/Com.) may also appear. 8. There will be no accommodation facility. 9. Study materials will be supplied both in soft and hard format. 10. Entrance Test will be held on 7 March, 2021 from 11 am – 12.40 pm. 11. This Entrance Test will only check the knowledge of English, Arithmetic and General Knowledge. There will be 20 MCQ type questions each carrying 1 mark from each of the three subjects mentioned above. Thus, the students have to answer total 60 MCQs within a span of 45 minutes. For each wrong answer one third marks will be deducted. Apart from that there will be an essay writing (in 500 – 600 words) in English on any topic carrying 50 marks. For essay writing, students will get 1 hour. There will be a 5 minutes’ gap between these two parts. 12. Date of publication of merit list for a viva voce and the date of the commencement of the course will be announced on the college website (https://rkmrc.in/) in due course. 13. Viva Voce will carry 10 marks. 14. Seats are very limited. However, total number of seats will vary depending upon the quality of students appearing. 15. The Centre will be able to offer optional papers’ guidance in Bengali, History, Political Science and Sociology. Some more subjects may be offered later. However, this will be finalised after seeing the quality and quantity of the students applying for any optional subject. 16.
