Australian Capital Territory Race and Sports Bookmaking (Sports Bookmaking Events) Determination 2008 (No 2) Disallowable Instrument DI2008—210 made under the Race and Sports Bookmaking Act 2001, s20(1) - Determination of sports bookmaking events 1. Name of Instrument This Instrument is the Race and Sports Bookmaking (Sports Bookmaking Events) Determination 2008 (No 2). 2. Revocation I revoke determination DI2008-114 dated 16 May 2008 and notified under the Legislation Register on 22 May 2008. 3. Commencement This Instrument commences the day after it is notified. 4. Determination I determine that the approved senior level sports bookmaking events are as specified in Schedule 1 to this instrument. I determine that the approved sports bookmaking events relating to national and international racing are as specified in Schedule 2 to this instrument. For the purpose of events determined under Schedule 1 of this determination a “senior level event” includes all professional, top level competitions and Masters type events but does not include junior, school or any competitions where a condition of participation requires competitors to be less than 18 years of age. Player awards and medals as sanctioned by the above Leagues and Associations. 3 Athletics (Track and Field) Each event scheduled and sanctioned by the: (i) International Association of Athletics Federations; (ii) Oceania Athletic Association; (iii) Athletics Australia. 4 Australian Rules Football 1. Each event scheduled and sanctioned by the Australian Football League Commission. 2.
