The Arkansas Department of Correction has moved up to BLUE on the PBMS (Performance Based Measure System) map! ADC entered into an agreement some years ago with the Association of State Correctional Administrators to share measures of performance among its members. ASCA‘s thought is that having the capability to systematically collect, manage and share data across jurisdictions enables administrators to identify strengths and weaknesses internally and in comparison with oth- ers. ASCA also believes that by col- lecting this data, enables peers to share established and successful methods that enhance perform- ance. But to do so, we must all be measuring the same thing.
