of 75 1 INTRODUCTION It was a high-profile year for Bob Dylan. The first volume of his autobiography, Chronicles, was finally published in October and an updated of Lyrics just a week later. At the end of the year an exhibition called Bob Dylan’s American Journey 1956-1966 opened at the Experience Music Project in Seattle, Washington. And of course the Never-Ending Tour kept rolling on.
