When the pastor had gone back into the church, the boy scout further investigated the potential of the instrument. Joined by his friends, he grabbed a 2 x 4 board and took a swing at the exposed guts of the forsaken piano. ELIZABETH HOFFMAN Piano: Tim Schwarz Violin: Thane Lewis viola: Jonaihan Graber Ceiio : JOII Bichsel Aeolus, king of the winds in Greek mythology, suggested to me a personification of some definite purpose or driving force behind the motion of the air. It is just this purposeful movement which we understand as music. In this piece the lines converge and diverge in changing ways. The opening, predominant section (Andante con moto) moves from reflectiveness to increasingly persuasive expressiveness. The menD m6sso and piu m6sso i mysterioso return the music to a more removed etherial world. ID ~ Improvisation. (~ ..
