LAST T%M$ UT • These two teams met Friday night at the Family Arena. The Ambush were down 5-1 at the end of the third quarter, but clawed their way back to tie the game by the end of regulation play. Neither team scored during the 10-minute overtime period, sending the game into a shootout, which the Ambush won, sealing the 7-6 final score. ALM$%!A C M$S AL%&$ • Ambush midfielder Lucas Almeida entered Fridays’ contest with three assists in four games played thus far this season. He heated up in Friday’s match, scoring a goal and adding two more assists to his season total. He has posted a goal and five assists in his last three games played. 'T HEATS U( • Ambush forward JT Thomas had two goals Friday night and has tallied six goals and four assists in his last three games. He is tied for second on the team in both points (15) and goals (10). !U!UCA T • Ambush forward Duduca also tallied two goals on Friday. He has four goals in his last two games and is tied for second on the team in points (15) and goals (10). T )"#S ST*$A+ $)!S • Ambush forward Tony Walls saw his six-game scoring streak end on Friday, but he remains the team’s top offensive threat, leading the team in points (17) and goals (13). G*ANT G$TS H%S F%*ST • Ambush forward Anthony Grant made his debut with the team on Friday, after being acquired via trade with the Kansas City Comets on Thursday. He made his presence felt by scoring his first Ambush goal in the fourth quarter of Friday’s game.
